Our field is inherently collaborative. As designers we rely on the work and ideas of others to grow and improve.
Building upon past innovations and drawing inspiration from diverse perspectives helps push the boundaries of what's possible and create meaningful, impactful work.
How do we select work that boards the Arc
You might notice common themes while browsing the list of portfolios and resources. Typically we look for 3 key criteria.
1: Work is easy to read, uses high-quality images and strong storytelling.
2: Their work is unique. We're not looking for another budgeting app.
3: If a resource exceeds value for it's price or performs a task at a higher level than other resources in it's market.
How often do new things board the Arc
We upload when we find something good, whenever that may be. Being on a schedule prioritizes meeting deadlines and rushing the process. Which we hate.
Every four months we purge
Things change. We gain new perspective, links get broken, rebrands can be awkward, we get it. So every quarter we purge old work and fix broken stuff.
